Rechargeable Batteries

Standard rechargeable cells bleed charge on the shelf, which is why a torch stored in a drawer for three months comes out flat. Low self discharge cells hold most of their charge for far longer and are the right answer for anything used occasionally. Keep high-drain devices on standard cells and cycle them.
