Liquid ink sits between a ballpoint and a fountain pen. It flows without pressure, so writing is effortless and the line is dark and even. On absorbent or recycled paper that same free flow spreads along the fibres and the line goes furry. It also empties faster than a ballpoint and takes longer to dry under a left hand.
