Scale decides the equipment and the failure is always audio rather than video. A desk webcam with a built-in microphone works for one person close to it. A meeting room needs a device with a microphone array that reaches the far end of the table, otherwise remote participants hear a room and no words. Lighting matters more than sensor specification.
