Pinboards

Cork and fabric behave differently over time. Cork grips pins firmly and closes over most of the holes, so a heavily used board still looks reasonable after a year. Fabric over a fibre core looks smarter from day one and shows accumulated pin marks sooner, which suits a display board more than a working one. Frame material matters in wet areas.
