Brush Markers

A brush nib changes width with how hard you press, which is what makes modern lettering and loose illustration possible and also what frustrates a beginner for the first fortnight. Nib material matters: felt tips are forgiving and wear to a point, while true synthetic bristles hold a finer line for longer. Alcohol-based inks blend on coated paper and bleed on ordinary stock.
