Ice Blue To Indigo, Plus Violet And Lavender

In the 371 C6-2 Blues and Violets box Staedtler pack six pigment brush pens: ice blue, pale blue, pacific blue, indigo blue, violet and lavender light.

Four blues climb from almost white to a deep indigo, and the two purples carry the palette on into dusk and flowers. Night skies, galaxies and ocean depths come together by laying indigo over pacific blue, while lavender light and violet handle irises, jacarandas and the shadow side of a white object. Ice blue is soft enough on its own for snow and glass highlights.

Multi Ink is translucent, so layers stay visible through one another and colours deepen with each pass. Staedtler rate the ink as highly lightfast, classifying every shade on the blue wool and grey scales, and describe it as permanent and waterproof once completely dry, with no show-through on the reverse of the page.

FAQs

Ice blue 310, pale blue 30, pacific blue 39, indigo blue 36, violet 6 and lavender light 620.
Staedtler recommend layering to intensify colour and working gradients while the ink is still wet. Lay the lighter blue first, then bring indigo and violet in from the edges before it dries.
Our barcode, 4007817097113, is the EAN Staedtler Australia list for this box of six, article 371 C6-2.
Yes. Several colours from this box are also listed individually on our site, including indigo blue 371-36, violet 371-6 and lavender light 371-620.
Once fully dry, Staedtler describe Multi Ink as waterproof and smudge-free when painted over, so a wash over dry lines should leave them in place.
