Two quite different products share the name. Classroom sticks are thin, sized for a board and worth buying in a dustless grade where students have asthma or the room is poorly ventilated. Pavement bars are thick, soft and made to be dragged across concrete by a small hand, and they wear away fast by design. Neither works on a whiteboard.
