Batteries
Match the chemistry to how hard the device works. Alkaline is right for remotes, clocks and wall units that run for a year on one set. Lithium holds voltage under heavy or cold conditions where alkaline fades early. Rechargeable cells sit at a slightly lower nominal voltage, so a few devices read them as flat when they are not, which is worth testing before committing a whole site. See rechargeable cells, power banks and torches.
