The mismatch that ruins a session is the hole. A bead sized for fine elastic will not take a chunky cord, and a large-hole bead slides straight off fine thread, so buy the two together rather than separately. For younger groups, larger beads and stiffer cord remove the threading frustration entirely. Sort by colour before the lesson rather than during it.
