AEROFORM Short Snake Bite Bandages are 10cm x 4.5M compression bandages with a printed pressure indicator pattern designed to guide correct application tension for pressure immobilisation technique (PIT) in snake bite first aid, supplied in a wrap of 12 for first aid room and ambulance service procurement.
Pressure immobilisation technique is the recommended first aid for Australian elapid snake bites - the bandage is applied firmly to the bitten limb from the bite site to immobilise the limb and retard venom movement through the lymphatic system. The indicator pattern printed on the AEROFORM snake bite bandage guides the first aider to apply correct pressure by showing when the tension is within the effective range - not so loose that it fails to retard lymph flow, and not so tight that it restricts arterial circulation.
The short 4.5M format is appropriate for a single limb application and is the standard procurement format for snake bite bandages. Wrap of 12 for volume first aid room, ambulance, and outdoor activity first aid procurement.
Suitable for Australian snake bite pressure immobilisation technique first aid, outdoor and remote area first aid snake bite management, workplace first aid kit snake bite bandage stock, and any Australian first aid application requiring pressure immobilisation bandage with tension indicator.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
