Read two things off the label: the SPF number and whether it is rated broad spectrum, since the second covers the part of the spectrum the first does not describe. After that the practical question is reapplication, because a product nobody goes back to at lunchtime is not protecting anyone. Pump bottles at a site entry get used; tubes in a ute do not.
