1. Prepare a schedule

First things first, prepare a schedule and a checklist so you wouldn’t miss anything. List down the rooms you need to go through and the cleaning materials you need. Have a plan for how you’ll tackle each room.

2. De-clutter

Set the time to organize your closet and go through some of the junk you no longer need on your desk drawer. Here’s a great tip: if you’re storing important files, it’s best to find a translucent box so it’s a lot easier to view its contents. Find storage box with rollers so it’s easier to move around.

3. Label your storage

When you’re de-cluttering, it’s best to label your storage so it’s easier and makes you more efficient when cleaning the rest of the house. It keeps you organized and has a positive psychological influence that lowers your stress level.

4. Don’t dread cleaning the bathroom or kitchen

For most homeowners, these rooms are the most difficult to clean. Opt for a universal cleaner that is suitable for use in the kitchen and the bathroom as well. Northfork’s Neutral Cleaner is an all-purpose cleaner that does this job well, it doesn’t even require rinsing. Plus, it leaves a light rose fragrance when applied. On another note, if you are looking for a product that can be used on your bathroom tiles, toilets, basins, and on any glass surface, this general bathroom cleaner cleans and santises multiple surfaces, resulting in fewer products used to clean the bathroom.

4. Use the top-down method

Finally, for our last tip, use the top-down method. Start your spring cleaning routine from the ceiling down. This will prevent you from re-dusting or re-cleaning some areas whenever debris would fall down.
