How Do You Mount Velcro?

Press the adhesive strip onto the piece of fabric. If you're putting the Velcro on a garment, attach the scratchy hook side so it points away from your body. Otherwise, you can use either of the strips. Line the Velcro strip up on the fabric and push down on it firmly so it stays in place.

How Do You Stick Velcro To A Wall?

If you have some art you want to hang without putting yet another hole in the wall, a few, small pieces of heavy-duty Velcro are your best bet. Apply two to four strips, approximately 2 inches (5 centimeters) long, along the back of the piece. Use a level to line up the art, and press firmly against the wall. The fasteners are low-profile (for nearly flush mounting), easy to use, and simple to remove when it's time to redecorate. The fasteners are sturdy and able to hold up to four pounds per set peel off cleanly and won't damage paint, drywall or other wall materials.

The Use of Indoor Mounting Tape

Sew-on Velcro products also are straightforward to use. Cut the Velcro to the size you need, and machine or hand-sew the edges of the hook side to the side of the fabric that faces away from the skin. Then, back-stitch to secure in place. Slide them up and off the adhesive pad, and then peel the adhesive pad off the wall using the easy peel tab. If there's any adhesive left on the wall, use a hairdryer to soften it slightly and then use tooth floss to gently scrape it off. Warning: Adhesive hooks can't be removed from wallpaper without damaging it.
