TraumaSim Bleed Control Trainer Kit - Leg

TraumaSim's Trainer's Pack for Bleeding Control 1 has been created to assist trainers delivering the lifesaving skills of tourniquet application and wound packing. This convenient kit contains the worlds first tourniquet trainer, TraumaSim's Emergency Tourniquet Trainer (ETT) and our robust wound packing training aid, Haemostatic Clotting Trainer (HCT). Combining these training aids with the accessories included in the kit ensures the trainer has everything they require to deliver haemorrhage control training to the highest level.

Arterial bleeding can cause death in as little as 3 minutes, without immediate intervention a life can be lost. Applying a tourniquet and wound packing correctly can be a lifesaving measure, however these are skills that needs to be correctly taught, accurate technique experienced and then repeated to lock in the muscle memory.

The ETT is available in two versions, a Leg or Arm amputation, and the HCT has the option of a gunshot or laceration wound, both have the capacity to bleed and when correct tourniquet technique and wound packing is used the bleeding will occlude. These units can be used as a wet or dry training aids, however TraumaSim rate realism as one of the most important training tools, so outside with the bleeding function operating will give you the best simulation result. By spiking your trainees heart rate and testing their fine motor skill under pressure, this will truly test their confidence and competence leading to better outcomes.
