Standard Keyed – Individual keys for individual locks. Ideal for individuals needing theft protection, but IT Manager access is not necessary.

Master Keyed – Individual keys for individual locks, with a set of keys for IT Manager access to all locks. Great for scenarios where employees only need access to their own equipment, but IT Managers require access to all equipment.

Supervisor Keyed – IT Manager only access. Perfect for stationary equipment that only an IT Manager controls access to.

Like Keyed – Identical keys for identical locks. Ideal for protection against non-employee theft, without restricting employee access and productivity.

Please note: At any point you can add additional locks to your custom key solutions, allowing use of the same unique and secure keycode across the entire business.

Combination lock types

Standard Combination – A combination lock that can be changed. This is best suited for an individual needing protection against theft.

Serialised Combination – A combination lock that cannot be changed. This is best suited for a large company or project where an IT Manager is provided all of the individual lock combination which are linked to the serial number on the lock, great for employees working offsite.

Master coded Combination – A combination lock with a key. This solution comes with a key which allows the IT Manager to reset forgotten combinations.

Kensington Lock Slot

The Kensington lock slot on devices has been around for more than 25 years, there are currently four variants:

KSlot, TBar or MicroSaver – this is the original slot and almost all desktops/work stations, docks, other peripherals and more than 70% of laptops use the MicroSaver slot

N17, Wedge or Dell slot – this is most common for Dell laptop devices

NanoSaver slot – this is common for very thin devices as it has a smallest footprint

MiniSaver slot – least common found in some devices

Apple and Surface

Some devices don’t have a Kensington lock slot like Apple and Surface devices – we have options for these which includes locking stations, locking brackets, uniquely made Surface locks and adhesive solutions. We even have a locking solution to lock down all your peripherals (mouse, keyboard, dock etc). Please let me know if you would like more details.
