Our Story

In 2015, we saw an opportunity to combine our love for adventure and design in a new type of outdoor gear. Whether you’re discovering new corners of your city or new corners of the planet, we now use our tech to enhance and simplify the adventure experience. Lander was created to seamlessly bridge the gap between traditional adventure gear and the technology we use every day. We work to develop tested and proven gear for a new generation of explorers, we call this Gear Made Modern®.

Expedition Grade®

Expedition Grade is a standard we hold ourselves to when creating our products. It is the result of our specific design process with extensive testing, above and beyond industry standards. After we go through all the testing, we take our products out into the field and use them the way you will be using them.

  Each product we make has to go through a benchmark testing process to ensure its quality. We use third-party testing labs for drop testing, material strength and durability, electrical certifications, and waterproofing.

  Before our products go to production, we take them out on our own adventures to see if they have the right feature set and will work when it counts. We send our products to our ambassadors all over the world for testing and real-time feedback.
