Can you arrange deliver to a container consolidator?
Yes, we can work with you to ensure that orders are packed in a suitable cartons/pallets for shipping, as per your requirements, to ensure safe transfer to their final destination. We will also give you a dedicated customer service team member who will handle your needs from start to finish. All shipping costs, arrangements and/or fees beyond this consolidator are the responsibility of the customer and not Mega Thing Pty Ltd. Further, the customer agrees to cover any charges related to container demurrage, detention, damage, or cleaning for the containers transporting the goods.
What about GST/Tax?
Orders that are sold for use outside Australia are not subject to GST. The best way is to work with you customer service team member to build a quote and submit it for your acceptance.
What about customs and/or duties?
As the importer, you are liable for any customs, excise duties, fines, or penalties that might arise due to the import of the goods. We recommend contacting your local customs office for detailed information specific to your country.
What about minimum order values/bulk discounts?
As per above, first steps would be to build and submit a quote. Every product has this button on it to start this process And our team will reach out to you. Minimum purchase amount for internaional orders is $5000 (ex GST)
What about insurance?
Loss or damage to your order during transit is an insurable risk. While we ensure the goods leave our facility in perfect condition, any damages or losses in transit are the customer's responsibility. We recommend obtaining suitable insurance. If you choose not to insure your items, you bear the associated risks.
What about payments?
Until a commercial relationship is established, all orders are to be paid prior to shipping. After a handful or transactions, we can negotiate initial deposit and terms and/or eventually credit terms.
What about legal compliance?
By ordering, you acknowledge that you are the official importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the receiving country.
