A team of 12 has worked on this project for 6 months, effectively implementing and demonstrating work to the required standard. When implementing the environmental management system, six key environmental processes have been established, and associated environmental goals defined. DURABLE has concentrated on the core elements of resource and energy management, which incorporates processes for waste, emissions, hazardous substances and emergency precautions.

In particular the TÜV Rheinland Group auditors were impressed by the modern and efficient technologies for reducing energy con-sumption and the internal recycling of process waste.
