Complete Your Holiday Packaging with Avery

You’ve wrapped your presents and tucked treats neatly in gift bags. There’s just one more thing that can complete your holiday packaging—festive personalised gift tags. To give your gifts a premium look and feel, Avery Printable Tags with Strings are sure to impress. The sturdy cardstock is optimized to display rich colors and sharp text, and designs can be printed to the edge to create a rich, professional-looking tag. And with the quick-latch fasteners included in each package, putting the finishing touch on your gifts couldn’t get any easier!

Step 1: Start a New Project

Instructions: Go to Avery Design & Print Online and enter “22802” (the product number for Printable Tags with Strings), and click “GO.”

Step 2: Select a Template Format

Instructions: To see designs in a horizontal format, click “Printable Tags.” To see designs in a vertical format, click “Printable Tags, Tall.”

Can’t decide? Just click the “Back” button in the upper-right-hand corner to go back and re-select.

Step 3: Choose the Design Theme

Instructions: Select from a variety of design themes from the column on the left, and view the design(s) from each theme on the right. Want to start from scratch? Choose the “Blank and Text Only” theme.

Step 4: Customize the Tags

Instructions: Once you’ve chosen your design and clicked “Select and Customize,” you’ll see a closeup of the tag.

Use the pre-designed template as is, or give it your own personal twist. You can also add a personal photo or graphic of your choice.

To change the existing graphic, click on the design to select it, and use the menu on the left to select another image from the Avery Gallery or from your own computer file.

To customize the text, click to select the text area and type in your text. Use the menu on the left to choose a different font, font size, or color.

To create personalized tags for different recipients, use the sheet navigator on the right-hand side. Click the “Apply to One” radio button and enter text for each tag.

To create generic tags with the same text, use the sheet navigator on the right-hand side. Click the “Apply to All” radio button and enter your information one time.

Step 5: Preview & Print

Instructions: Click “Preview & Print” to review your design. To make adjustments, just click the “Back” button in the upper-right-hand corner. When your design is ready to go, just click the green “Print” button.

TIP: Follow the directions from the insert in the package for printing tips.

Step 6: Save

Instructions: To save your design, click the “Save” button. In the pop-up window, create a file name and save to either your “MyAvery Online Account” or your computer.

Step 7: Tag It!

Instructions: Attach gift tags to gift bags, necks of beverage bottles, or loop in ribbon wrapped around gift boxes.
