Solid plastic magnifier, 11.5cm long. Main lens 50mm at 3x, with a second small lens set into the handle. Ages 3 and up.

The big lens is the everyday one: wide, easy to aim, and at 3x it shows a whole leaf or a whole beetle at once. The small lens in the handle is the step up - narrower view, more detail - so a child can move from looking at a thing to looking into it without swapping tools.

At $3 it is the magnifier you buy enough of that it does not matter when one goes missing on an excursion. Solid moulded plastic, nothing to come apart, no glass to break.

One thing we cannot resolve for you. The supplier's own description gives the small lens as 7x in one sentence and 5x in another. We are not going to pick one and print it as fact. The 3x main lens is stated consistently, and the second lens is definitely stronger than the first - if the exact figure matters to you, ask us and we will get it confirmed before you order.

The supplier rates it from 3. It is solid plastic with no glass and nothing that detaches. As with any magnifier, do not let it be aimed at the sun.
Those are 5x with a 7.5cm glass lens and a proper handle - better optics, better for a whole class. This is the cheap, tough, two-power one for $3.
At 3x, yes. Plastic lenses show their limits at higher magnifications; at this power the picture is clear and the durability is worth more.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
