Wide 50mm Heavy Duty Hook and Loop Tape on a 2.5m Roll

Velcro Brand 25584 is the wide format of the Heavy Duty tape: a black hook and loop roll 50mm across and 2.5m long, boxed for hanging display and cut to length on the job.

Its box shows garden tools on a wall rail beside a red badge that reads Holds up to 3kg. Velcro Australia carry the 50mm x 2.5m size on their Heavy Duty Tape page next to the 25mm rolls, where the smooth surface list runs painted wallboard, glass, metal and most plastics, with 675g per 25 x 25mm square given for the range.

The back of the box lays out the steps clean, cut, peel, stick and done, and asks for firm pressure to activate the adhesive. At 50mm wide, a strip spans more of the back of a tool rail or storage bracket than the 25mm rolls do, with the same roll length to work from.

The box prints the same Holds up to 3kg badge seen on the 25mm packs and gives no separate figure for the 50mm width. Velcro Australia quote 675g per 25 x 25mm square only as a range figure, so we make no claim that the wider tape holds more.
The box for 25584 makes no claim for use outside, and its limitations rule out wet areas. It also warns that sunlight and the elements, over a long period, will damage the fastener.
Velcro Australia advise waiting 24 hours before use and state that the adhesive reaches maximum strength after that time. The box adds that 18 to 24 Celsius is the optimum when applying it.

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition.
