Black Velcro Brand Stick On Hook and Loop Tape, 2.5m Box

Velcro Brand Stick On hook and loop tape in black, product code 25580, is packed as a 25mm x 2.5m roll in a hang-sell box for desk and shelf organising jobs that call for a longer run of tape.

The box artwork shows clear pots of red paper clips, blue binder clips and red binder clips hanging from a black strip on a wall, the kind of desk tidying ACCO describes when it lists hanging and attaching items at home, at work and in classrooms. Velcro Australia includes code 25580 among its Stick On tapes beside the 1m rolls.

The front of the box is printed Holds Up To 1kg, while Velcro Australia's tape page gives 450g per 25 x 25mm square as the figure for its Stick On range. Black suits dark partitions, cabinets and shelving where a pale strip would stand out against the finish.

Shorter rolls, dots and rectangles are in the Velcro range. Desk trays and holders are grouped in office organisation, and the adhesives and fasteners page covers glues, tapes and clips.

FAQs

Both are Velcro Brand Stick On hook and loop tape, 25mm wide and black. Code 25580 is a 2.5m roll in a box printed Holds Up To 1kg, while code 25570 is a 1m roll on a blister card printed Holds Up To 500g.
Velcro Australia cautions that shifting a fastener once it is stuck weakens the adhesive and may damage the wall or board beneath it. Items are taken down by parting the hook from the loop rather than peeling the strip.
No. The pack describes everyday indoor use and states it is not suitable for wet areas. Sun and weather are a further concern, since Velcro Australia states prolonged exposure to either will damage the fastener.
The back of the box lists laundered fabrics, wallpaper, PVC, loose paint and porous or flaky surfaces as not recommended. The same panel notes that the tape may not adhere to all plastic surfaces.
