Velcro Brand Stick On Hook and Loop Tape, 25mm x 1m Roll in Black

A single 25mm x 1m roll of black Velcro Brand Stick On hook and loop tape, product code 25570, cut to whatever length a job needs when hanging signs, posters and artwork at home, at work or in a classroom.

ACCO Brands Australia files this tape under its Stick On sub brand and describes it for showing posters, signs, prints and artwork without reaching for glue, nails or tacks. Across the blister card the printed claims read General Purpose Stick On and Holds Up To 500g, with nothing on the card explaining how that figure was measured. For the whole Stick On tape range, Velcro Australia quotes 450g per 25 x 25mm square.

Velcro Australia says to start with a smooth, clean and dry surface, then peel each cut piece, press it firmly to activate the adhesive and allow a 15 minute wait before use. In black, the strip suits dark picture frames, board edges and darker furniture.

Longer rolls, dots and pre-cut shapes sit together in the Velcro range. Other brands and formats appear under hook and loop fasteners, and hanging hardware for displays is grouped in mounting solutions.

FAQs

The card front is printed Holds Up To 500g, without a stated basis for the figure. Velcro Australia's Stick On tape page quotes 450g per 25 x 25mm square as a range figure. Velcro also recommends testing on the surface before relying on it.
ACCO names wood, metal, glass, cardboard and plastic as suitable smooth indoor surfaces. On the back of the card, Velcro cautions that the tape may not adhere to every plastic and advises against wallpaper, loose paint, PVC and porous or flaky finishes.
No. The pack rules out wet areas, and Velcro Australia also warns that long exposure to direct sun and weather damages the fastener. The card describes it for everyday indoor use.
Velcro Australia's instructions say to wait 15 minutes before use. That page also puts full adhesive strength at 24 hours after application, and the pack gives 18 to 24 degrees Celsius as the optimum application temperature.
