Black for light coloured and see through surfaces

This single Uni PWE-5M liquid chalk marker writes in black with a medium bullet tip, and suits glass, mirrors, metal and other smooth non-porous surfaces.

Dark ink matters the moment the surface is pale. White glassboards, frosted office partitions, mirrors, light tiles and clear storage jars all need a dark ink to be readable, and a wipe-off black does that and still comes off when the job changes. It is also the colour for outlines on window art, where coloured fills sit inside a black line.

Black is listed for the PWE-5M on Uni's Australian and UK sites. Its water-based paint comes away again, and Uni's Australian page says it survives rain while a damp cloth removes it. Uni say porous materials are unsuitable.

No, it will barely be visible on a black board. For blackboards choose white or a bright colour; black is for light, white or clear surfaces.
Uni Australia list the colours of the PWE-5M assorted packs of 4 and 8, and black is not in either. Buying it singly is the way to get it.
Medium bullet. Go finer with the PWE-3MS or bolder with the chisel PWE-8K. Uni do not publish one consistent width figure for the PWE-5M across their sites, so we have not stated one.
A painted or laminate whiteboard is not listed by Uni as a surface for this marker. Glassboards are glass, which Uni do list, so those are the safer choice. Test a small area on any other board first.
Yes. Glass is non-porous, and Uni Australia give a damp cloth as the way to remove the ink.
