The packaging is the feature. Ten sterile bags of ten rather than one bag of a hundred means you open a bag, use ten, and the other ninety stay sterile. A single opened box of a hundred is a box of ninety contaminated dishes after the first lesson.

Sterile is what you need for anything you intend to grow. A plate that starts sterile means what appears on it came from the sample, which is the entire point of the experiment.

What is not included: no growth medium, no agar, and no handling guidance from the supplier. For school microbiology, follow your state or system's guidance on what may be cultured, and talk to your lab technician about incubation temperature and plate disposal before you start. We are not going to give safety advice on the manufacturer's behalf.

Transparent, so growth is observed without lifting the lid. At 70c a plate it is cheaper per dish than the non-sterile pack of 20.

Because a non-sterile plate already carries an unknown population. Anything that grows on it could have been there before your sample, so the experiment proves nothing.
The unopened bags do. That is why they are bagged in tens - open one bag at a time and the remaining ninety are untouched.
No. There is no growth medium in this pack. Ask us if you need agar or prepared plates.

Yes - 70c against 75c, and these are sterile. If you use petri dishes at all regularly, the box of 100 is the better buy.

For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days. South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
