The point of a graduated set is that you stop pouring between vessels. A 50ml measurement goes in the 50ml beaker where the scale is fine enough to read; a litre goes in the litre beaker. Five sizes covers everything a school practical asks for.

Plastic, not glass, and that is a deliberate trade-off. Polypropylene will not shatter, which matters with younger students and in a wet room. It also cannot go on a flame - so this is the set for measuring, mixing and pouring, and the borosilicate beakers are the set for heating.

Raised graduations rather than printed. Moulded into the wall, so they cannot rub off in a dishwasher or an autoclave.

Good chemical resistance and clear enough to see a colour change through. One set per bench.

Not directly. Polypropylene is autoclavable but must not go on a flame or a hotplate. For heating, use the borosilicate glass beakers.

Beaker graduations of any kind are approximate - use them to get roughly the right amount, and a measuring cylinder when the number matters.

Because it does not shatter. With younger students, in a wet room, or on an excursion, that is worth more than being able to heat it.

Polypropylene resists most school chemicals, but strong dyes and some indicators will mark any plastic over time. That is cosmetic.

One per bench or group. Five sizes in one set means a group rarely needs to borrow.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered.
