Three Synthetic Brushes, Six Sets For The Art Room

This listing is 6 sets of the Staedtler 989-SBK3-3 synthetic brush set, each with a #2 round, a #8 round and a #8 flat.

Staedtler make the 989 with a wood handle, metal ferrule and synthetic fibre that is easy to clean, and say it has excellent elasticity and shape retention. They list it for watercolour, acrylic, gouache and oil, and for working water-soluble pencils, crayons and chalks.

The three sizes split the work neatly. The #2 round handles detail and fine lines, the #8 round carries more paint for washes and petals, and the #8 flat gives straight edges and block fills. Six sets means a small group, a family or a workshop table each get a matched trio, and it is the quantity Staedtler Australia sell this card in.

Our older photo shows the earlier Design Journey card; Staedtler now pack the same three brushes in a box.

Pair them with watercolour paints, watercolour pencils or craft paints, and see more brushes.
