A Six Colour Jumbo Marker Wallet To Start With

Staedtler 340 WP6B is a clear wallet of six Noris jumbo colouring markers in assorted colours, the smallest pack of the 340 range.

Six is a sensible number for a first set: enough for a sun, sky, grass and a house, few enough that nothing gets lost under the couch. In the pack photo the caps are yellow, red, green, blue, brown and black. Staedtler publish no colour list for this code, so those are what the picture shows rather than named shades.

The 340 marker itself is the same as in the bigger packs. Staedtler state a line of approximately 3.0 mm, a pressure-resistant tip held fast against being forced back into the barrel, water-based ink, and ink that washes easily out of most textiles. The barrel is thick polypropylene.

Small and inexpensive, the wallet slots into a birthday party bag, a travel activity pouch or a grandparent's drawer of things to do. When six feels limiting, the 340 WP12 wallet adds pink, light blue, light green and grey.

Six assorted. The pack photo shows yellow, red, green, blue, brown and black caps; Staedtler do not publish a named colour list for this wallet.
Staedtler have no separate photos for the six wallet, so the single pen, tip close-up and in-use shots are of the same 340 marker used across the range.
Staedtler lock the tip so it cannot be pushed back into the barrel, even under very heavy pressure. Caps still need to go back on to stop the ink drying.
Staedtler state it washes easily out of most textiles. Rinse fresh marks quickly and follow the care label.
