Six Fat Fibre-Tip Pens In The Basic Colours

Staedtler 329 C6 holds six Noris junior fibre-tip pens in assorted colours, a small box of the chunky pens Staedtler make for very young children.

The six shades on the colour chart are yellow, a pale pink, red, blue, green and brown. That is a practical starter palette: bright enough to hold a toddler's interest, and brown and green cover trees, dogs and dirt. There is no black in this box; the 329 C12 adds it along with six more colours.

Each pen has a short hexagonal barrel, so it sits flat when put down, and a rounded tip Staedtler lock in place against heavy pressure. The line is broad, approximately 2.5 mm. Staedtler's water-based ink lifts out of most textiles very easily, which counts for a lot at this age.

For a nappy bag, a cafe table or a first birthday present, six pens in a small box are easier to keep track of than a full set.

FAQs

No. The six colours are yellow, pale pink, red, blue, green and brown. Black is in the 12 box, 329 C12.
A six-sided barrel does not roll away when put down, and Staedtler make it chunky for small hands.
Staedtler say the tip is locked, so heavy pressure cannot push it back into the barrel.
On fabric, Staedtler say most textiles release the ink very easily. Deal with marks while they are fresh for the best result.
