The arithmetic works out: 20g of ones, 100g of fives, 100g of tens and 80g of twenties. That combination reaches any whole number of grams up to 300 in a sensible way, which is what makes a weight set useful rather than just heavy.

Colour coded by denomination, so a child picks the right one by sight instead of reading a stamp. That is the difference between a maths lesson about mass and a maths lesson about finding weights.

Hexagonal and stackable. Hexagons do not roll off a bench, and they stack neatly on a balance pan without sliding. At 35mm across they are big enough for small hands.

Plastic rather than brass or iron - lighter to carry as a class set, no rust, no sharp edges, and cheap enough to lose a few. For hanging masses in physics, buy the slotted iron weights instead.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
