An Orange MAX505 You Can Spot Across The Deck

The orange Panaro MAX505 is the empty MAX505 shell moulded in a bright orange, for gear that should stand out in a boat, a ute tray or a pile of black cases.

Colour does a practical job here. Rescue, first response and marine crews often colour code their kit, and a bright case is quicker to find in a crowded store room or a dark vehicle. Because it ships with nothing inside, you decide the interior: a foam inlay cut to your equipment, a padded divider set from Panaro, or loose items that simply need to stay dry.

Panaro give the inside as 500 x 350 x 194 mm (58 mm lid, 136 mm base), 33.95 litres, with outside dimensions of 555 x 428 x 211 mm and a 3.90 kg weight. The orange shell keeps everything the black one has, from the sealed lid and self-venting valve to the two-stage latches, padlock points and stacking ribs. Certificates Panaro hold for the MAX505 cover ATA 300 Cat. 1, IP67, the military STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41 tests and MIL-STD-810; the case is built in Italy.

Only the colour. Panaro give the same sizes, weight and certificates for the MAX505 in every colour.
No, the orange MAX505 is sold empty. Orange versions with cubed foam, padded dividers or a trolley are listed separately.
Panaro do not publish a buoyancy figure, so we cannot say. Their IP67 rating covers dust and temporary immersion of the closed case.

For in-stock items, standard metro delivery in QLD, NSW and VIC is usually 1 to 7 business days.
