The Empty MAX505, Ready For Your Own Fit-Out

The Panaro MAX505 in black is the base case of the MAX505 family, supplied empty so you can add your own foam, dividers or a custom insert.

An empty shell suits buyers who already know what is going inside: a cut foam inlay made for one instrument, a stack of padded pouches, or bulk parts that just need a sealed box. Panaro also sell cubed foam, padded divider and lid organiser kits for this size, and the same case comes ready fitted as the MAX505S, MAX505CAM and MAX505CAMORG.

Usable space in the black MAX505 is 500 x 350 x 194 mm: 58 mm of it in the lid and 136 mm below, 33.95 litres in all, inside a 555 x 428 x 211 mm shell weighing 3.90 kg. Its O-ring lid seal, self-venting valve, two-stage latches, nylon-pinned hinges along the full length, strap and padlock holes and interlocking ribs are standard on every MAX. The empty MAX505 is tested by Panaro to MIL-STD-810, ATA 300, IP67 and, for military use, STANAG 4280 plus DEF STAN 81-41; it is made in Italy.
