The Deepest MAX1090, With 200 mm Of Lid Depth

Panaro's MAX1090H640-R is the tallest case in the MAX1090 family: 480 litres of empty, watertight space under a removable lid.

Its interior is 1090 x 680 x 640 mm, split as a 200 mm deep lid over a 440 mm base, so taller items can stand upright and the lid itself carries useful volume. Outside it measures 1178 x 780 x 702 mm, and Panaro weigh the bare case at 24.80 kg.

The lid is not hinged. Twelve latches hold it down and side handles on the lid let you lift it away to load from above; Panaro list a butterfly steel latch kit as an alternative. Double wheels, a fold down handle and low side handles take care of moving it, and four automatic valves equalise the pressure in the air or as temperatures change.

Teslab report 25A300A, issued for this exact height, shows compliant results for IP6X and IPX7, for STANAG 4280 alongside DEF STAN 81-41, and for MIL-STD-810H test methods. Panaro rate the case from -51 to 90 C.

Same 1090 x 680 mm footprint and 440 mm base, but the lid is 200 mm deep instead of 70 mm, taking the inside height to 640 mm and the volume to 480 litres. Choose it when your tallest item will not fit in 510 mm.
Per Panaro, 24.80 kg bare and 29.80 kg as shipped in its carton. Plan on two people or a trolley once it is loaded.
Panaro's site lists this height only with a removable lid, in empty, modular divider and custom foam versions. We sell the empty version.

Panaro list holes for double padlocking on the MAX1090 series and sell their coloured MAXLOCK separately. No padlocks are included.
