Derwent Inktense colour 0313, Wild Flame, ink-like wash pencil
Water-soluble Derwent Inktense pencils in Wild Flame that can be used dry or with water and dry permanently, in a box of 6.
Fabric, ceramic and wood are among the porous surfaces Derwent lists for Inktense, alongside paper. This Wild Flame pencil, colour 0313, carries the range's wax-based, water-soluble 4mm core. Colour can be laid down dry or activated with water, and once dry it is permanent, so later layers sit over it without dissolving earlier work.
Wild Flame is sold here as a box of 6, under our code AA2306136 and Derwent code 2306136. The colour number is 0313. Derwent marks the Inktense range as water-soluble, permanent once dry and suitable for use on fabric, with range ratings of 3 for blendability and 5 for colour intensity.
This listing sits in Watercolour Pencils with the other water-soluble pencil lines. General pencil stock sits under Pencils. Drawing and colouring materials more widely are listed in Drawing & Colouring.
