Derwent Inktense Asphalt with a soft 4mm core
Sold here in a box of 6, Derwent Inktense Asphalt (colour 2103) is a water-soluble pencil for use dry or mixed with water.
Derwent lists Asphalt as number 2103 in its Inktense colour list. Derwent describes Inktense as a formulation that acts like ink. Used dry it draws as a pencil; mixed with water, Derwent says, the colour becomes even more intense. Colour that has dried stays in place when further layers go over it.
For orders use AA2306156, or 2306156 when matching Derwent's list. We sell Asphalt as a box of 6 pencils. Derwent positions the range for fine art and craft projects. The Inktense colour list has 100 entries. Derwent's range table gives a soft texture, a wax-based, water-soluble make-up and a 4mm core.
We file this Derwent Inktense colour in Drawing & Colouring and in Watercolour Pencils and Pencils; each collection shows the box of 6 alongside related drawing stock, all on the one store.
