Water-soluble Derwent Inktense pencil, Sea Breeze 1225
Six Derwent Inktense pencils in Sea Breeze (colour 1225) with a 4mm water-soluble core that dries permanently.
With Derwent Inktense Sea Breeze (1225), a dry pencil mark can be turned into a wash with water and left to dry permanently. Derwent lists the range at 100 colours, each with a wax-based 4mm core, and describes the pigments as keeping their vibrancy after drying to give ink-like effects on paper and other porous surfaces.
Derwent code 2306149 and our code AA2306149 both identify this box of 6 Sea Breeze pencils, colour number 1225. Derwent's features table for Inktense lists a wax-based, water-soluble core that is permanent once dry, and rates the range 5 for layering and 3 for blendability.
Water-soluble pencil ranges are grouped in Watercolour Pencils. Our general pencil range, graphite through colour, is in Pencils. See Drawing & Colouring for drawing and colouring materials across the store.
