Derwent Madder Brown Inktense Block, colour number 1920
Derwent Inktense Block in Madder Brown (1920), a soft, water-soluble block of highly pigmented colour that dries permanently, sold in a box of 6.
Madder Brown 1920 is one colour from the Derwent Inktense Blocks range of 72. The blocks are water-soluble and formulated to dry permanently, so dried layers stay in place when more colour is worked over them. Used dry, the colour is highly pigmented; mixed with water it becomes even more intense, and it keeps its vibrancy after drying for ink-like effects on paper and other porous surfaces.
Range ratings from Derwent: colour intensity 5, layering 5, blendable 3, strength 3. We sell it as a box of 6 blocks in the one colour. Our code is AA2302078 and Derwent's is 2302078; Madder Brown carries colour number 1920. In the range features, the blocks are marked water-soluble and permanent once dry, with a soft texture.
It is also listed in Art & Craft Supplies, our general collection for art and craft materials across the store. You will find this listing in Watercolour Paints, which brings watercolour paints and water-soluble blocks into one collection. Every colour in the range is grouped in Derwent Inktense Blocks.
