Derwent Inktense Block in Amber, colour 1710

Derwent Inktense Block in Amber is a water-soluble colour block that dries permanently, sold here as a box of 6.

Amber, colour 1710, is part of Derwent's Inktense Blocks range of 72 colours. Just like the Inktense pencils, the blocks are highly pigmented and can be used dry or mixed with water, which Derwent says makes the colour even more intense. They dry permanently, so you can work over the top without dissolving earlier layers, and the range lists an 8mm core size.

Quote AA2302073 with us or Derwent code 2302073 when ordering; the colour number is 1710. We sell it as a box of 6 blocks in the one colour. Derwent's features table lists the blocks as water-soluble, permanent once dry and suitable for use on fabric. On Derwent's range scale, colour intensity and layering score 5, while blendable and strength score 3.
