Artline 444 Paint Marker, Black, Box of 12

A box of 12 black Artline 444 paint markers with a 0.8mm super fine bullet nib, ACCO Australia code 144401, for small part numbers, fine labels and detail work.

At 0.8mm the 444 draws a narrower line than the 400, 409 and 440, which suits serial numbers, cable tags and small components. ACCO lists a 0.8mm line width and nib size, and both the box and the barrel print 0.8. Our title says Plastic Tip, matching ACCO's specification table, while ACCO's feature text calls it a super fine bullet nib.

ACCO says the ink is quick drying and highly water and fade resistant, that its opaque colour remains vibrant even on dark or transparent surfaces, and that a valve action mechanism controls the ink flow inside an aluminium barrel. The 444XF box front lists steel, rubber, timber and plastic.

ACCO describes the ink as quick drying and highly water and fade resistant, and Artline's website says UV light resistant. Neither publishes a test standard or a time period, so we do not add one.
ACCO's listing says it can withstand exposure to temperatures up to 100°C, but does not say whether that refers to the marker or the dried mark. ACCO's safety data sheet rates the ink as a highly flammable liquid with a flash point of 3°C for black, and says keep it away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks and open flames.

It uses the signal word DANGER, describes a minor solvent odour and says keep out of reach of children. ACCO gives no age rating, so we make no claim about use by children.
