Artline 400 Paint Marker Permanent 2.3mm Bullet Black Box of 12

About 2.3mm. ACCO Australia lists a 2.3mm line width and a 2.3mm nib size for code 140001B, and describes a bullet nib. The barrel prints 2.3 next to the nib symbol.

ACCO Australia lists code 140001B with a pack size of 15, and sells the box of 12 in the same colour under code 140001. Our product title reads Box of 12, which does not match ACCO's listing for this code. If the exact count matters, ask our team to confirm it before ordering.

ACCO says the opaque ink remains vibrant even on dark or transparent surfaces and that the marker is designed for indoor and outdoor use. ACCO's listing for code 140001B names no specific materials, so we do not list any. Try it on a hidden area first.

ACCO describes the ink as quick drying and highly water and fade resistant; the barrel prints UV Proof, and Artline's website says UV light resistant. Neither publishes a test standard or a time period, so we do not add one.

ACCO's listing says it can withstand exposure to temperatures up to 100°C, but does not say whether that refers to the marker or the dried mark. ACCO's safety data sheet rates the ink as a highly flammable liquid with a flash point of 3°C and says to keep it away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks and open flames, so keep the marker itself well away from heat.

Yes. ACCO's safety data sheet for the Artline 400XF, 409XF, 440XF and 444XF paint markers, revised 13 Dec 2023, is attached to this page. It classes the ink as hazardous with the signal word DANGER: highly flammable, causes skin irritation, may cause drowsiness or dizziness, may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways, and toxic to aquatic life. It describes a minor solvent odour and says keep out of reach of children. ACCO gives no age rating, so we make no claim about use by children.
