Artline 444 Paint Marker, White, Box of 12

Twelve white Artline 444 paint markers, ACCO Australia code 144433, with a 0.8mm super fine bullet nib for small white labels and numbers on dark parts, tags and housings.

A fine white line lets you number a black component or a dark cable in a small space without covering it. ACCO lists a 0.8mm line width and nib size for this code, and the white barrel prints 0.8 beside the nib symbol along with Outdoor Use, UV Proof and Opaque. ACCO's specification table lists the nib type as Plastic.

ACCO's listing describes a valve action mechanism that controls ink flow inside an aluminium barrel, and an ink that is quick drying and highly water and fade resistant. ACCO adds that the opaque ink remains vibrant even on dark or transparent surfaces. The materials named on the 444XF box are steel, rubber, timber and plastic.

Wider white marks come from the 400 and 409 in our paint markers collection. Fineliners, pens and other markers from Artline are listed in that collection and on our writing supplies page.

FAQs

About 0.8mm. ACCO Australia lists a 0.8mm line width and nib size for code 144433 and describes a super fine bullet nib, while its specification table lists Plastic as the nib type.
ACCO says the opaque ink remains vibrant even on dark or transparent surfaces. The 444XF box front lists steel, rubber, timber, plastic and other materials. Try it on a hidden area first when the finish matters.
ACCO describes the ink as quick drying and highly water and fade resistant, and Artline's website says UV light resistant. Neither publishes a test standard or a time period, so we do not add one.
ACCO's listing says it can withstand exposure to temperatures up to 100°C, but does not say whether that refers to the marker or the dried mark. ACCO's safety data sheet rates the ink as a highly flammable liquid with a flash point of 3°C for white, and says keep it away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks and open flames.
Yes. ACCO's safety data sheet for the Artline 400XF, 409XF, 440XF and 444XF paint markers, revised 13 Dec 2023, is attached to this page. It uses the signal word DANGER, describes a minor solvent odour and says keep out of reach of children. ACCO gives no age rating, so we make no claim about use by children.
