Size 2 Hog Hair Flat for Lettering and Small Shapes

The size 2 X-Press It hog hair flat brush gives a slim square stroke for lettering, small shapes and clean edges between colours.

Its handle is plain timber printed with 579 F, and the cream hog bristle is held in a silver coloured ferrule. A size 2 flat lays down short, even strokes about the width needed for bold lettering on a poster, petals on a flower or the panes of a painted window, and the firm bristle keeps those edges sharp in thicker acrylic and tempera.

Because the head is still small, children can control it at a desk, yet it fills shapes faster than a round detail brush. The firm hog hair springs back after each stroke, so the square tip stays true for edging work.
