A 10 x 12 inch gallery canvas for head-and-shoulders portraits and small landscapes

For head-and-shoulders portraits and small landscapes, try the 25.4 x 30.48cm canvas, an X-Press It gallery canvas of 10 x 12 inch.

Pine is the frame timber printed on the 25.4 x 30.48cm canvas. Only slightly longer than square, the gentle rectangle gives a calm frame for faces or close-up flowers. Staple free edges are printed on the 10x12 label, along with triple priming. The cloth on the 25.4 x 30.48cm canvas is listed as cotton duck.

At 450gsm, this 10 x 12 inch canvas outweighs the 380gsm thin profile cloth. The 25.4 x 30.48cm canvas arrives primed, so no gesso coat is needed. A pine frame sits behind the 10x12 cloth, as the label states. Staple free edges keep the sides of this 10 x 12 inch canvas clean for a wrapped image.

Finished as a modest portrait for a study wall, the 25.4 x 30.48cm canvas pairs with acrylic paints and brushes. Compare GSC10X12 with other canvas and art paper. Code GSC10X12 keeps reorders simple. Size up or down from 10x12 as the subject needs.

FAQs

One 10 x 12 inch canvas, code GSC10X12, sold individually with nothing else packed alongside.
The 10 x 12 inch canvas has no printed grade. The label for GSC10X12 lists 100% cotton duck at 450gsm.
Exactly 25.4 x 30.48cm. That is 10 x 12 inches multiplied by 2.54.
Against 380gsm on thin profile canvases, the 25.4 x 30.48cm canvas prints 450gsm over pine.
Depth is not stated for GSC10X12. Neither the label nor the 10x12 listing gives a figure, so none is quoted.
Its near-square proportion suits a head study or a cropped floral without much empty space.
