Short Handle Size 2 Hog Flat for Close Desk Work

The X-Press It short handle hog hair flat in size 2 puts a slim square-tipped head on a compact handle for detailed painting close to the page.

Short handles are easier to manage at a crowded classroom desk and in smaller hands, because the brush does not knock into neighbours or tip out of a water jar. A size 2 head suits letters, small shapes and outlining, and the stiff hog hair copes with thick poster paint and acrylic.

Holding the brush nearer the bristles gives steadier control for fine edges, which helps younger painters keep inside lines. A compact brush also fits pencil cases and travel art kits that will not take a full length handle, and it is light to carry.

Combine it with poster and acrylic colour from acrylic paints, find the long handle sizes and broader flats in our craft paint brushes, and see more educational supplies for stocking primary school art rooms.

FAQs

Your order brings one short handled size 2 flat brush with hog hair bristle.
Short handles suit close work at a desk and smaller hands. Long handles are better at an easel where you stand back from the surface.
The image is a general photo used across the short handle hog flat range, so it is not a size 2 close-up. Expect a narrow head on the brush you receive.
Thicker paints such as acrylic, poster paint and tempera suit firm hog bristle best.
