The white that writes most of the menu

A single Uni PWE-5M liquid chalk marker in white, with the medium bullet tip, for chalkboards, windows, mirrors and other smooth non-porous surfaces.

On the typical cafe blackboard, white carries most of the words. It gives the strongest contrast on a black board, so dishes and prices stay readable from the counter queue, and colours are then added for the headings. That is why white runs out first and why it is worth keeping a spare. The medium tip is sized for the body of a menu: item names, short descriptions and prices.

Uni UK's classification is a water-based paint pen whose ink comes off again, which is what makes it at home on chalkboards and glass. Rain is not a problem in Uni Australia's description, and a damp cloth clears the board at the end of the day. Uni list porous surfaces as unsuitable.

For finer print there is the PWE-3MS and the rest of the chalk markers; boards and holders are in display and signage, and more in cafe and restaurant supplies.

White usually does most of the writing on a board, so it runs out well before the colours in a mixed wallet. A single marker tops up the colour you use most.
Yes. Uni Australia list white in both the PWE-5M assorted pack of 4 and the pack of 8, and Mega stocks both.
Medium bullet, the everyday size of the three chalk marker tips. Uni's Australian and UK pages give different line width figures, so we do not quote one. There is a white PWE-3MS for fine detail.
It shows well on glass with a darker background behind it, such as a shop interior seen from the street in daylight. On glass against a bright white wall it has less contrast.
Uni UK say the PWE-5M is not smudge resistant. Allow it to dry before anyone touches the board.
