Metallic violet for boards that come out after dark

This is one Uni PWE-5M liquid chalk marker in metallic violet, with a medium bullet tip for lettering on chalkboards, mirrors, glass and similar sealed surfaces.

Metallic shades earn their place on a dark background. On a black menu board or a smoked glass panel, a violet with a metallic finish picks up the light from a pendant lamp where a flat colour sits still, so cocktail bars and function rooms use it for the headline drink or the theme of the night. The barrel is printed Metallic Violet, which makes it easy to tell apart from the plain violet in a mixed tub.

Uni keep their care notes short. The ink is a water-based paint that wipes away from smooth surfaces, and Uni's Australian site rates it to hold through rain until a damp cloth lifts it.
