Natural wood jumbo colours for small hands

The Staedtler Noris natural jumbo 1280N C12 is a box of 12 triangular jumbo coloured pencils with a natural wood finish.

Staedtler make the 1280N for early learners: an ergonomic triangular jumbo barrel that small hands can hold with ease, finished in natural unpainted wood. Staedtler describe high break-resistance for first drawing and colouring exercises and list a 4mm lead for bold colour. The box holds 12 pencils in assorted colours.

Because the barrel is plain wood, children match the colour by looking at the sharpened tip, and the box keeps a full set together for the art table. The wood comes from certified, sustainably managed forests, per Staedtler, and the triangular shape keeps pencils from rolling off the table.

Staedtler also pack the same pencil in a cup of 72 for shared tables. Browse more coloured pencils, jumbo pencils and Staedtler colouring supplies for kindergarten and junior primary classrooms.

That is the natural finish of this range. The colour is at the tip, so children match the point to the colour they want.
One with a jumbo hole. Staedtler do not publish the barrel diameter of the 1280N, so check the sharpener's jumbo hole size before you buy.
