Bright Watercolour Pencils in a Compact 12 Tin

Staedtler 146 10C M12 packs 12 high-quality watercolour pencils into a metal tin, ready for bright dry colouring or brushed-out watercolour.

Staedtler call the 146 10C a high-quality coloured pencil in classic hexagonal shape with a watercolour lead. The soft lead gives amazing bright effects on watercolour paper with water and a paintbrush, and Staedtler note it also works for dry techniques in bright colours.

This tin has the core 12: yellow, peach, orange, red, bordeaux, red violet, blue, pale blue, green, willow green, Van Dyke brown and black. That is a sensible base for teenagers, hobby painters and anyone trying watercolour pencils for the first time without a large outlay.

The tin carries the Staedtler Design Journey mark. Staedtler pair it with their Mars 510 25 double-hole sharpener, or a 512 002 tub.
