Twelve Watercolour Pencils and a Brush for School Art

Staedtler Noris aquarell 144 10NC12 is a cardboard box of 12 watercolour pencils with a paint brush, an easy introduction to painting with pencils in the classroom or at home.

Kids colour as normal, then run the supplied brush with water over the colour to turn it into watercolour. On watercolour paper the wet colour turns vibrant, Staedtler say, and the pencils still give bright results when used dry.

The pencils have the A-B-S anti-break system: Staedtler explain that a white protective coating reinforces the lead core and increases break-resistance, which helps with pencils that get dropped in school bags. Each classic hexagonal barrel is finished in its lead colour, so finding the right pencil is quick.

The 12 colours are yellow, red, bordeaux, blue, pale blue, orange, peach, green, willow green, red violet, Van Dyke brown and black.

It is. Staedtler pack 1 paint brush in this box, so children can start painting straight away.
Staedtler state the Noris aquarell conforms to EN 71. They do not print a minimum age on the page, so supervise young children.
