A Table Cup of 72 Jumbo Natural Colour Pencils

Staedtler 1280N KP72 packs 72 Noris natural jumbo coloured pencils in assorted colours into a clear round cup, a shared supply that sits in the middle of a kinder or junior primary table.

The cup label reads 72 jumbo triangular colour pencils, and the barrels are the same unpainted 1280N pencil sold in boxes of 12. Staedtler's 1280N page puts the lead at about 4 mm and says the triangular shape is ergonomic, with the break-resistance young beginners need.

A cup changes how a room works. Children pick from the middle instead of guarding their own box, points are easy to check at a glance, and the blue lid goes back on at pack-up time. The see-through wall also shows when stock is running low before the last few colours disappear.

Staedtler Australia list this article as a cup of 72 with a minimum order of one cup. Staedtler do not publish how the 72 pencils split by colour, so we do not list a colour count.

FAQs

Staedtler do not publish a colour breakdown for the 72 cup, so we cannot promise equal numbers of each colour. The pencils are assorted.
Yes, both are the Noris natural jumbo 1280N pencil. The cup simply holds 72 for sharing, where 1280N CD12 is a box of 12 for one child.
The product photo shows the pencils sharpened in the cup. Keep a jumbo-size sharpener on hand, as Staedtler give the lead as about 4 mm.
It is a clear round cup with a lid, so once empty it can hold other pencils, but it is packaging rather than a sold storage item.
